Kantonsbibliothek Vadiana/Bucharchiv (St. Gallen, Switzerland/München, Germany))

A nice collection of library holding information on one page. The barcode as well as the stamp in the left lower corner show that the book is part of St. Gallen District Library's collection. The stamp from the German Book Archive in Munich tells us that the book may have been part of another collection, once.

A nice assemblage of library holding information on one page, which tells us more about books and their travels. The barcode as well as the stamp in the left lower corner show that the book is part of St. Gallen District Library’s actual collection. The stamp from the German Book Archive in Munich in the middle of the page tells us that the book may have been part of another collection, once.  Not to forget are the handwritten collection and classification information as well as the date in the left upper corner (probably the reception date) and the numerus currens at the end of the page. The different used stamp and writing formats indicate how different collection organisation can be, from one library to another.

Another example of a stamp of a district library and with emblem of the canton (St. Gallen).

Another example of a stamp of a district library, containing the name of the library and the emblem of the canton (St. Gallen). And, as well, a barcode below the stamp gives the book a unique number within the library.
